Dear KCPS Families,

As we prepare for the 2025-26 school year, we want to ensure that all students are ready for asuccessful start. It is essential for all families to complete the annual enrollment process by May 30th for their students, EVEN IF NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

This process includes reviewing your information, providing proof of residency, and most importantly, signing up for transportation if your student will be riding the bus in the Fall.

3 Ways to Complete the Annual Enrollment Process

• Online through the Parent Portal (directions below)
• In Person at the KCPS Admissions office or the Annual Enrollment Clinics (table below)
• At your School with the Secretary or Registrar

 

Online Instructions for Completing Annual Enrollment 

1. Login to the Parent Portal 
2. Select More > Online Registration 
3. Select 25-26 Annual Enrollment Update 
4. Verify each section; making sure phone and email are current 
5. Upload current proof of residency document (examples below)
6. Sign-up for bus transportation, if needed 
7. Submit Registration

 

KCPS Annual Enrollment Clinics

Clinics are open to all families needing assistance completing the Annual Enrollment process.

 

Accepted Proof of Residency Documents

Provide 1 of the documents listed below

• Utility bill (water, gas, electric ONLY) within the last 30 days, no turnoff or disconnect notices
• Homeowner/rental current insurance policy within the last 30 days
• Social services, social security statement within the last 30 days
• Paystub, paycheck, or bank statement within the last 30 days
• Mortgage bill or statement within the last 30 days
• Other legal documents such as TANF or SNAP letters
• Valid property deed
• Signed residential lease agreement
• Current year real or personal property tax receipt
