East High School's Bears for Justice are organizing Orange Shirt Day on Sept 30th, this is the day of Truth and Reconciliation that honors Native American children who were forced into boarding schools. Orange Shirt Day honors Residential School Survivors, their families, and those who never returned home, it serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting impacts of the Residential School system. What began as a grassroots initiative has since evolved into a nationally recognized movement, with individuals, organizations, and communities participating in acts of remembrance, reflection, and reconciliation each year.

Let's all honor this day and wear Orange TOMORROW!!!

EAST 100
Creating, Learning, and Expressing!
In Ceramics and Foundation of Art Classes, students explored the basics of ceramics and drawing while creating artwork that helped them develop new skills and techniques.

Art is such an important form of expression, it gives students the opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence and bring their ideas to life. We love seeing our students learn, create, and grow through art!
